This is my first ever foray in the blogosphere so I’m very much afraid you will come across the occasional blooper, for which I apologise in advance. Having well exceeded my half century doesn’t help either - my articulation with tech gadgets is by far inferior to that with paintbrushes.
I have been wargaming since my early teens, way back in the seventies. Back then you could only get Airfix 20mm plastic figures and Airfix Magazine Guides wargame rules. Reference material? Rarer and more precious than a Penny Black! And living on a miniscule Mediterranean island didn’t help much either in the age when snail mail ruled supreme. Nowadays gamers are pampered and spoilt for choice as far as manufacturers, rules, figure scales, terrain, accessories, dice, paints, and what-have-you. Better today certainly then, but the most important thing is that the wargaming spirit lives on and on through the years. Through this blog I will attempt to impart a fraction of that spirit to anyone audacious and patient enough to read and follow this blog.
Let us hope it will be a long and fruitful journey............
